Care Instructions
To keep your screen-printed shirts looking their best, wash them inside out in cold water with a mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and hang dry or tumble dry on low.
Washing:
- Turn Inside Out: This protects the print from rubbing against other garments and potential damage.
- Wash in Cold Water: Hot water can cause the ink to crack or peel, so always wash in cold water.
- Use a Mild Detergent: Avoid harsh detergents or bleach, as they can damage the ink and fabric.
- Wash with Similar Colors: To prevent color bleeding, wash your screen-printed shirts with similar colors.
- Avoid Bleach and Fabric Softener: These can damage the print and fabric.
- Choose a Gentle Cycle: Select the gentle cycle on your washing machine to minimize wear and tear on the print and fabric.
Drying:
- Hang Dry: Air drying is the best way to preserve the print and fabric.
- Tumble Dry (If Necessary): If you must tumble dry, use the lowest heat setting and turn the shirt inside out.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the fabric to fade.
Ironing:
- Do Not Iron Directly on the Print: If you need to iron, do so on the inside of the shirt or place a thin cloth over the print to protect it.
- Use Low Heat: If ironing is necessary, use the lowest heat setting to avoid melting the ink.
- Avoid dry cleaning: as the chemicals can make the ink brittle
